MV Soap Box Derby Race

Jacob and his brother-in-law Aaron were asked to help put together the soap box car for our church. This afternoon we got together with the driver to see the car do a few practice runs. MV's mayor decied to bring the All Amercian Soap Box Derby to Mount Vernon. We hope the car and driver do well. The official race is Sunday May 6, 2007.

Olivia is 4 months old!

Olivia is 4 months old as of 04/27/07. We cannot believe how fast time has flown with her. She started rolling over about a week ago. She also is teething.. Not fun ,but I am glad she is getting it over with....We are so thankful that she is hitting "normal" milestones. With her being premature we were not sure if she would be a little slower at doing some things. As of now she is just smaller than most 4 month olds in size, but that is fine with us.

Ashlyn was sick this past week and spent a few days home with a fever. I could tell she was starting to feel better when she decided to play in my laundry basket.

Our little Big Hitter

Ashlyn is in a Big Hitters Teeball League and I am one of the coaches. We have twelve 3-5 year olds on the team. If that doesn't stretch you, I do not know what does. We practice 1 time a week and have 1 game per week. This morning we had a game and had a great time.

Shelby

This is our new dog. Technically it is Ashlyn's dog, but she's falling down on her job. Her name is Shelby (as in '67 GT Shelby Mustang) and she is a Bull Mastiff with a bit o' lab. She'll get big. This is her at 8 weeks.
